Serena Mercer

I am a self-taught glass artist based in Aokautere, just outside of Palmerston North, where I have my studio and gallery. I self-taught myself back in 2009 and bought my own kiln, there was no looking back.

My current passion is fusing glass. I never get tired of opening the kiln to see how the glass and colours have melted and blended, it’s really exciting. I enjoy sharing my love of glass with others and now run workshops at my studio.
