Isolation Creations is an exhibition of art by New Zealand glass artists, created during the five weeks in 2020 COVID-19 pandemic Lockdown.

Arts have a huge healing component and can provide important reference points to how we’re feeling, how we’ve been impacted, provide hope for the future, and as a cultural record of events. By sharing our work during this unsettling time, we share with you our love of glass, while showcasing the many different techniques used.  We also want to show you the skills and passion to be found your local arts and crafts communities!

The artists exhibiting all live right here in New Zealand. Many of whom rely on studio visits, local markets, craft fairs and art galleries to earn a living.  With none of these avenues available at present, we need to find other ways to showcase our art.
