Boon Sculpture Trail is a free and vibrant arts festival that promises to transform Hamilton’s central city into an artscape for all to enjoy from February 3rd to March 31st 2024. Artists are invited to submit an expression of interest for an artwork to be included in our next exhibition. Open to both emerging and established artists. 

Selected artists will be assisted to install and present their works for the exhibition to be presented in Kirikiriroa, Hamilton, the Waikato during February/March 2024 and to run for an 8-week period. Our start date is Sat 3rd February 2024 and the exhibition runs until the 31st March. 

This exhibition is an exploration of sculpture in the most expansive sense. We encourage artists or collectives to think about and respond to ‘this place’ and to create/propose work that engages with our evolving relationship to this unique whenua and provokes interaction and conversation with audiences while showcasing the bountiful diversity in contemporary art practice.
