Jackie Hancock
Jackie has loved glass from an early age, from admiring stained glass windows in churches and cathedrals to focusing on stained glass as part of her first degree in art and music.
She started glass fusing in 2020 just before the world shut for the pandemic, and is largely self taught.
Jackie has an innate ability to cut herself on regular basis, and always has a good supply of plasters nearby!
She loves to challenge herself and often comes up with crazy ideas that she has no clue how to actually create until getting started!
Ebb and Flow: A recurrent pattern of coming and going or decline and regrowth. The shoaling fish, the currents and the changing colours of the ocean are all represented in this triangular, freestanding sculpture.
